Before you post it
- Sign out of your Microsoft account and remove the console as your home Xbox.
- Factory reset it: Settings → System → Console info → Reset console → Reset and remove everything.
- Include the controller, cables and box if you have them — they add to the price.
- Pack it in the original box, or a sturdy box with plenty of padding on every side.

Questions people ask
Do I need the original box?
No — we buy consoles without a box. Having the box, cables and controller adds to the price, and the questions ask what you've got. Without the box, pack it in a sturdy box with plenty of padding on every side.
What do I do about my PlayStation or Xbox account?
Sign out and remove the console from your account, then factory reset it, before you post it. We can't buy a console that's still locked to someone's account — the "Before you post it" checklist on our PS5 and Xbox pages walks through it.
Is mine an Original, a Slim or a Pro?
Check the model number on the label on the back or underneath: CFI-1xxx is the Original, CFI-2xxx is the Slim and CFI-7xxx is the Pro. The checker on our PS5 page does it for you.
How up to date is the price?
Our offers are recalculated every night from what that exact console has actually sold for recently, so the price you see is today's.
