Resolution
Once we receive and inspect the item, we will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate. You will be notified throughout the process.
6. Dead pixel / display policy
LCD and OLED display panels are complex electronic components. A small number of pixel anomalies (dead pixels, stuck pixels, or minor backlight variations) can occur and may be within normal manufacturing tolerances.
- If your display has clusters of dead/stuck pixels or multiple pixel anomalies that materially affect use, we will honour a warranty claim.
- Isolated single dead or stuck pixels that do not significantly impact viewing may not be covered, but we assess each case individually.
- We do not cite strict ISO pixel thresholds, but evaluate based on the severity and location of the defect.
If you believe your display has an unacceptable pixel defect, please contact us with photos and we will review your case.
7. Warranty transferability
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. If you sell or gift the product to another person, the warranty does not transfer with it. Proof of original purchase is required to make any warranty claim.
8. Your UK consumer rights
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have legal rights if goods are faulty or not as described. These rights are separate from and in addition to this manufacturer warranty.
For purchases from TahTech directly, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is faulty, depending on the circumstances and timing. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to register my product to activate the warranty?
No. The 2-year warranty is automatically active from the date of purchase or delivery. No registration is required — just keep your proof of purchase in case you ever need to make a claim.
What if I bought my TahTech product on eBay?
If you purchased from TahTech's official eBay store, your product is covered by this warranty. Please provide your eBay order number and confirmation when making a claim. If you purchased from an unauthorised third-party seller or bought a used/second-hand product, the warranty may not apply. Contact us with your order details and we will advise.
Does the warranty cover accidental damage?
No. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Accidental damage (drops, impacts, spills, cracked screens) is not covered. We recommend handling your devices with care and considering a protective case for added protection.
What about international orders?
At this time, the TahTech warranty is primarily designed for UK customers. If you are located outside the UK, please contact us before making a warranty claim to discuss return shipping and support options. International return shipping costs may apply, and resolution times may be longer.
How long does a warranty claim take?
We aim to respond to your initial claim within 2 business days. After you return the product (if required), typical resolution time is 7–14 days depending on the issue and availability of replacement stock. Complex cases may take longer. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
Can I return my product for a refund even if it's not faulty?
If you change your mind, please refer to our Returns Policy for information on returns and refunds within the statutory cooling-off period (typically 14 days for distance sales in the UK). This warranty page covers defective products, not change-of-mind returns.
